Terms of Service
Effective Date: February 18, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to register.utahsorting.com (the “Site”), operated by the Utah Ranch Sorting Association (“URSA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, submitting a membership application, or participating in URSA events, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or submit an application.
2. Membership
Membership is open to individuals and families interested in ranch sorting.
First year is free for new members. Renewing members pay annual dues: Single $50 | Family $100 (non-refundable).
Membership must be renewed each calendar year.
All members must abide by the URSA Rulebook and Code of Conduct (available on utahsorting.com).
Membership is non-transferable.
3. Registration & Accurate Information
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information in the membership form. We may reject or terminate any application with false or incomplete information.
4. Release & Waiver of Liability
By submitting the form, you expressly agree to the RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT displayed on the Site. This waiver includes a media/photo release. It is a binding legal contract. Parents/guardians must sign on behalf of minors (dependents).
5. Payments
All fees are processed securely. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including withdrawal from events or termination of membership.
6. Use of the Site
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Submit false or misleading information
Attempt to interfere with the Site’s operation
Use the Site for any commercial purpose without our written consent
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site and utahsorting.com is owned by URSA or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your membership or Site access at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for breach of these Terms or the waiver.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, URSA and its officers, directors, members, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in URSA activities.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
